The posture of our hands communicates a lot about us. Clinched fists, nervous fidgeting, relaxed positions or openness all convey something different about our mood, disposition or intention. Have you ever considered the position of God’s hands? For example, what do the hands of Jesus convey to you as he heals the sick, raises a child from the dead or even stretches out on the cross? We can learn so much from the hands of Jesus, especially in observing that they are constantly in an open position. What position do your hands most often take? Listen as we examine God’s word and contemplate what it would mean if we gave our hands to God for his glory.
