The Greek word used in the New Testament for “disciple” is “mathetes,” which means “learner,” “student,” and “follower.”
Discipleship, then, is the process of learning, studying and following Christ as He is revealed in the Bible. Morningside actively engages in different community discipleship opportunities and invites you to learn, study and follow Christ with us.
